ABU DHABI – Modon has announced the launch of Tara Park, a new freehold residential development on Reem Island, as Abu Dhabi’s off-plan property sector continues to attract buyers seeking alternatives to Dubai’s increasingly crowded apartment market.

The project will feature two residential towers with 494 apartments, offering one, two and three-bedroom layouts. Unit sizes range from 81 to 238 square metres, with handover scheduled for the second quarter of 2030. Buyers will have access to a 40/60 payment plan split between the construction phase and completion.

Located directly opposite Reem Mall, Tara Park is positioned within one of Abu Dhabi’s fastest-growing residential districts. Purchases above Dh2 million will qualify investors for the UAE’s 10-year Golden Visa programme.

Prime location

The development is situated five minutes from Downtown Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Global Market, while Zayed International Airport is approximately 25 minutes away. The project’s masterplan includes a 527-metre jogging track, central swimming pool, padel and multi-sports courts, fitness and yoga studios, co-working areas, children’s play facilities and a retail courtyard.

The launch comes as Reem Island strengthens its reputation as a major investment corridor, supported by the continued growth of nearby business, education and healthcare institutions. Abu Dhabi Global Market, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Repton School and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi are all located within the wider district.

Demand drivers

Soliman Hossameldin said the development sits at the intersection of financial-sector employment growth, international education demand and Golden Visa eligibility, factors that continue to support residential activity in Abu Dhabi.

He described Tara Park as part of a broader shift in how new communities are being designed in the capital, with increased focus on wellness amenities, walkability and integrated smart-home features.

According to Hossameldin, end-users are playing a larger role in Abu Dhabi’s off-plan market, with buyers increasingly prioritising long-term living environments rather than short-term investment returns alone.

Tara Park is the latest addition to Modon’s growing portfolio in the capital. The developer, majority-owned by ADQ, has emerged as one of Abu Dhabi’s leading masterplan operators alongside Aldar Properties.
